Across Ulster we have four Jordans Farm Partnership Farms. Acton House Farm, Ballyhenry Farm, Clare Glen Seeds Farm and Milestone Farm who all ensure they manage their farms for wildlife giving over at least 10% of their land to Wildlife. They also uphold the highest farming sustainability standards through LEAF.

Unfortunately our farms in Ulster don’t have public rights of way at present. However, you can get out about about or explore your wild side by visiting your local Trust, The Wildlife Trust for Ulster. You can find out all about the history of the local Trust and keep up to date with news and events!

If you’re lucky, you might be able to see some of the farmland species such as hares, lapwings and barn owls that the farmers are helping through their habitat management commitment. Hedges, field margins, meadows, woods, rivers and ponds can all be found on farms and help to provide essential habitats for wildlife to thrive. Why not use a spotting sheetto try and spot some farmland birds!
