Maintaining a connection to the natural world is so important whilst we're all spending more time at home and indoors.
From nature art to up-cycling your trash to treasure, here are some of our favourite nature activities you can enjoy from the comfort of your own home, garden or even on your daily walk.
Become a Nature Detective for the day and turn your empty loo rolls into binoculars. You'll need two empty loo rolls, simply stick them together with PVA glue, decorate (we covered ours in paper and added a leafy pattern with felt tips) and add some string before exploring nature on your doorstep.
Transform your empty milk carton into a beautiful bird house in a few simple steps. Just give it a rinse out, cut out some doors & add your design. Now pop in some twigs, pebbles (or whatever you can find in your garden) and string up in your garden.
Make a DIY Bird feeder from an old shoe box lid. Simply draw your design on the inside of the shoe box lid, add a dollop of nut butter and sprinkle with seeds. String up in your garden or on your balcony and watch as the birds come flocking.
